OK, so here's what's been going on here in Cape May, NJ . . . pretty much nothing since the blow. We've had a few guys that did venture out during the week w/some stripers being caught up the bay on bunker; but the striper bite was still verrrrrryyyyy quiet, if @ all. As for the Drum bite, not much better. Boats that did venture out reported a few small drum but mostly marking alot of fish as well as hearing them thru the night The spotter planes are also seeing them on the move; looks like we're all going to have to wait for that bite to start!
We did have some stripers hit the dock today from Stars & Stripers II & Capt. Kobey from Bluewater Sportfishing. Both boats reported that their catch was on bunker @ they were up the bay. I'm sure they'll update us on the conditions and the temps. Way to go guys on such a dismal week!
Stars & Stripers II hit the dock w/the first stripers today.
Capt. Kobey from Bluewater Sportfishing w/Capt. Jimmy's assistance on his new 33 Contender brought these stripers (30lb+) back to the dock today!
